I'm still here!!

Hello! I am still alive! It's been ages (over a month?!?) since my last post and it is only til this moment that I have been able to head to my blog and post something! Whoops!!! but with a legitimate reason/s!!!
I been managing the cafe that I work at while the current manager is on holidays. It has been very hectic as we are short staffed and I have been trying to do all the extra jobs!!
I have also been busy with custom  orders which are just about done :D Yay! And I am planning another Etsy photo shoot so I can update my online store. Phew! Plus add in a weekend away in Sydney and that's where my time has gone! It passes so quickly doesn't it?

And now for something that I didn't think I would be blogging about any time soon: Martial Arts and Bruce Lee!!
This post was inspired a documentary that I saw last night called "How Bruce Lee changed the world". I had no idea that he was such an amazing philosopher on top of being a super human athlete in mixed martial arts. AND he created his own form of martial arts called Jeet kune do which is practiced all over the world!! I am going to search out his book called the Tao of Jeet kune do as I am really fascinated by his philosophies and quotes. My favourite at the moment is:

Ever since I was a child I have had this instinctive urge for expansion and growth. To me, the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one's potential. Bruce Lee

And he could do a 2 finger push up and the famous 1 inch punch!! AMAZING!!

Southbank Twilight YDM

It's the Young Designer's twilight markets tonight in conjunction with the Mercedes Benz fashion week and what a great evening for it! Thanks RAIN! hahaha I really hope this weather eases off so lots of people will come out to see a plethora of Brisbane's talented designers, myself included! :P I have lots of new brooches to show, including a German sausage and a stack of pancakes! yum yum!
It starts from 5pm and will conclude at 10pm. I hope to see you there amongst the twinkling lights that will adorn the marquees... oohhhh pretty! :D
